MEXC Ventures, the investment arm of global digital asset exchange MEXC, held its eighth anniversary event, titled “MEXC OVERDRIVE: 8th Year Anniversary,” at Monza Barcade in Pasig City on May 12, 2026.
The racing-themed gathering brought together regional web3 community figures, including digital asset exchange VIPs, industry leaders, strategic partners, and creators from across Southeast Asia. According to a statement from the company, the event was organized to facilitate networking and highlight its ongoing investment presence in the regional cryptocurrency ecosystem.
Sim Racing and Brand Activations
The event featured the MEXC OVERDRIVE Sim Racing Challenge, where attendees competed on professional racing simulators across multiple qualifying rounds concluding in a final race.
In addition to the racing simulator competition, the program included an interactive trivia segment focused on the milestones, leadership, and product direction of the MEXC ecosystem. Participants also engaged in a raffle powered by a custom-built digital interface, with exclusive brand merchandise distributed throughout the night.
Ecosystem Investment Strategy
According to the MEXC Ventures Southeast Asia team, the event reflects the entity’s strategy to maintain regional connections with builders, founders, and partners.
The firm stated that its investment mandate involves funding Layer-1 and Layer-2 blockchain ecosystems, mergers and acquisitions, and project incubation. The investment firm specifically noted its ongoing financial support and strategic partnerships within the TON and Aptos blockchain networks.
